When Elisa heard about a puppy living in the forest she went out to try and rescue him. The locals would leave food for the dog, but because the puppy was orphaned and alone she wouldn’t let anyone get close to her.
Elisa wanted to catch the puppy before winter set in so she came out to see her every day to leave her food and to see if the puppy would warm up to her and her partner. But after 3 days of trying, they decided it was time to leave out a trap…and it worked.
Once back at their shelter, the tiny pup had to get used to human touch but introducing her to their other puppies helped a lot and soon after the puppy was travelling off to her forever home.
