Stray Puppy Found Curled Up on Family’s Porch Wants to Be Everyone’s Friend
“The first day we ever saw Brady, hiding out on someone’s front porch.” That’s how rescuers with Stray Rescue of St. Louis came to meet Brady. The tiny Pit Bull puppy had wandered onto the porch of a family’s home and curled up to sleep. When the family of animal lovers spotted the 4-month-old pup they called the dog rescue for help.
Donna Cochmann, chief life saving officer with Stray Rescue of St. Louis immediately came by and immediately noticed that Brady was friendly towards people and didn’t object when Donna picked him up and brought him into her car.
“He had no other littermates, no other dogs around him, nothing,” Lochmann told the Dodo. “But he somehow knew that [people] weren’t bad.”
He got checked out by a veterinarian and quickly won over the shelter staff by his happy-go-lucky attitude. It didn’t take him long to find a foster home and after just a few days there he’s quickly winning over everyone he meets.
His foster family shared that Brady “loves to go on walks in the neighborhood and meet everyone (people & dogs) along the way! When he’s at home, Brady enjoys playing with bones and stuffed toys or cuddling up with his people.”
He’s also great at work. His adoption listing says, “Brady sometimes ‘works in the office and is a perfect co-worker.’ Brady is dog friendly and currently lives with dogs, but would be fine as an only pet as well. He is mostly potty trained. He is working on his crate training.”
You can apply to adopt Brady on the Stray Rescue of St. Louis website.
