Stray Malinois Puppy Found Blind Faced Euthanasia Until This Man Changed His Life
A Belgian Malinois puppy was not only losing his sight but he was close to losing his life until he was rescued.
Milo was found homeless and blind and brought to a shelter in California. The shelter tried to get a rescue to help him, but just as he was going to be pulled, they had to back out.
With Milo facing euthanasia, the LA shelter reached out to Family Dogs New Life Animal Shelter, who agreed to take him in. That’s how the pup came to the attention of Lee Asher of the Asher House.
Asher was thrilled to meet the puppy and brought him back to his sanctuary. A month later, Milo is doing wonderfully and fits right into the pack.
Here’s Lee’s video of Milo’s rescue day.
One person commented of Milo’s rescue, “So beautiful. How sad to think that a homeless blind dog was going to die just for being blind and homeless. Thanks, Lee. You inspired me to start fostering again!”
