Blind Dog Found Shaking in a Ditch Gets a Miracle
Lee Asher of the Asher House was on his way back to Oregon after rescuing Rain the Dalmatian when he received a call from a close friend. They had rescued a dog “in rough shape found down in a ditch by a river.”
The couple had found the dog thanks to one of their dogs that had run into the bushes and found her. Her face was swollen, she was blind and shaking. They named the poor dog Miracle because it was a miracle she was still alive.
After reaching out to Lee, they were able to meet up so he could rescue Miracle and bring her back to the Asher House!
Vets think she got crushed somehow and has multiple fractures in her leg. But the injuries seem from a long time ago.
Fortunately, vets are hopeful that Miracle’s blindness might go away and she will be able to see again. Here’s hoping she will make a good recovery now that she’s in a safe and loving place!
