Blind Pit Bull Rescued from Roadside Adorably Grabs Blankets for Comfort

A Pit Bull named Selly was found badly injured by the roadside. Rescuers suspect she had been hit by a car and attacked by an animal. Her eyes were so severely damaged that they had to be removed. It was after her surgery that Hallie saw a photo of her on the SPCA’s website and knew she wanted to adopt her.

Although Hallie thought it might take the rescued Pit Bull more time to adjust to her surroundings it didn’t take long for the dog to settle in. One day she jumped on the couch and grabbed a blanket. Since then, she has gotten lots of blankets. Selly loves carrying them around the house and chewing on them. She’ll even navigate to the downstairs laundry room and grab two at a time!

Hallie says the blind pittie does get scared of loud noises, especially cars. But she’s not scared of people anymore. And with her blanket always at hand she’s one happy dog.
