When one of the rescuers responded the first thing she realized was she could use her gymnastic background to reach the dog. The second thing was that when she reached out her hand to allow the dog to sniff her, his response gave her a glimmer of hope that he would be all right.
The little dog lifted his paw when she put out her hand. From there, it was easy to pick him up. He smelled so bad and he was so dirty. But he was so happy to be in the car. It didn’t take long for the little sweetie to catch the attention of Matt and Melanie who adopted him into their home and named him Saint.
