An abandoned puppy seeking shade from the scorching hot summer sun found a pipe to hide in. The two-month-old dog had been dumped beside the road in a rural area of Serbia. The area was so remote there were no houses around.
Thankfully, Dog Rescue Shelter Mladenovac received an emergency call about the puppy and drove out to find her.
After some searching they found her in the drain pipe. The little pup had an infected eye and was covered in ticks. But a short time later she made friends with another rescue puppy close to her in age. Luna is now available for adoption.
