Abandoned Staffie Goes From Broken To ‘Happiest Dog in Cape Town’

An abandoned and abused Staffordshire Terrier had given up when his rescuers found him. Sidewalk Specials named the stray dog ‘Bean’ and revealed just how dire Bean’s situation had been.

“Bean was picked up on the streets of Bishop Lavis, Cape Town. Covered in deep bite wounds, with mange, ear infections and a broken leg that had been left untreated for over a year, Bean seemed resigned to his fate,” Sidewalk Specials, the rescue who saved him, revealed.

But after a year of recuperation, Sidewalks Specials revealed that Bean is a changed dog.

“We’ll never know Beans full story, how he ended up collapsed on that street corner, but we do know that thanks to your [their supporters] shares, donations and support Bean got a second chance at life and is now the happiest dog in Cape Town!”

For proof they shared this wonderful video of Bean’s “before and after.”

They added, “If you’re having a hard time right now take a lesson from Bean, hang in there and don’t be afraid to ask for help – it’s always darkest before the dawn!”
