Adorable Doberman Mix Insists on Pajamas to Stay Cozy and Warm
When Salem, a Doberman mix, gets cold, he has a foolproof way of letting his mom know—it’s time for his special pajamas!
Lex, (TikTok user @siriuslysalem) shared that her lovable pup isn’t shy about asking for his PJs. “He sits and cries until I put one on him. I’ve been hanging them up on the dog kennel, and he’s started bringing them to me,” she explained, alongside an adorable clip of Salem fetching his pajamas.
Salem’s custom-made PJs have been a staple for years, and seeing him all dressed up is one of Lex’s favorite things. She explains that Salem gets cold easily, which is why he loves wearing sweaters and his cozy pajamas. Recently, the temperatures dipped so it was time for him to get his jammies. Lex explains that “If he gets really chilly, his jammies cover his ears.”
At night, Salem also insists on burrowing under a blanket and gets visibly upset if Lex doesn’t cover him up properly, which you can see in the video below:
Salem is trained to help Lex get her things because she suffers from some chronic illnesses. She trained Salem herself. Salems is quite a high energy dog and enthusiastic about everything, not just his pjs.
“I’m frequently asked if Salem is always this insane & happy to work,” Lex writes. “The answer is yes lol.”
Salem absolutely loves his toys too. “And i keep buying them cause the way he lights up with a new toy makes me so happy. Pure joy.”
It’s heartwarming to see a dog who enjoys being snug and warm and having a mom who will make sure he never gets cold or go short on a toy.
