Annalise and her boyfriend were at an animal shelter in Long Beach and about to leave when a volunteer suggested they should meet Porter, a dog who had been found wandering on the streets a month earlier.
The couple were greeted by a large, 90 pound dog with a pittie-shaped head and startling blue “husky” eyes and the first thing he did when he saw them was come up to them and lean his backside on them. He’s wanted to be close to them ever since!
When they first brought Porter home he was a little hesitant at first but he quickly grew comfortable, so much so that Annalise jokes they should have named him “Shadow” because that’s what he’s like around them. Porter is just so happy someone finally loves him. As for his need to be close by? That’s not gone away. In fact, Porter always wants to lean on any person he meets.
