Bulldog Introduces Her Dad To Her Funny Nap Rules

Author Jeneva Rose and her husband, Drew, recently welcomed Phyllis, an English Bulldog, into their family. While their other Bulldog, Winston, has been slow to warm up to her, Phyllis has made herself right at home—so much so that she naps in the most unusual places.

Jeneva recently captured one of these quirky nap moments on video, and it’s both adorable and a little odd! At first, she wasn’t sure what was happening and asked Drew, “What are you two doing?”

The video shows Phyllis standing upright with her snout resting on Drew’s face—deciding it was the perfect time for a nap.

Jeneva can barely contain her laughter as she asks Drew, “Can you breathe?” His response: “Barely.” Jeneva humorously captioned the video, “He has to stay like this until Phyllis wakes up. Those are the rules.” And let’s be honest, that’s absolutely one of the unwritten doggie rules. If a dog is napping on you, moving is simply not an option.

Viewers loved seeing just how accommodating Drew is to Phyllis’ last-minute nap. They also loved his sense of humor. One person commented, “When he said….not pawticullaly’ I lost it!!!”
