These soccer players were only a few minutes from finishing their match when a dog decided to join in on the fun.
The dog named Roberto ran onto the pitch in a game between Unión De Santa Fe and Gimnasia in Argentina. The first thing he did was roll around on the grass.
The crowd went wild as the players ran over and gave him a few pets before lifting him off the pitch.
Apparently, Roberto is Unión De Santa Fe’s team dog and they went on to win the match. The opposing team joked afterwards that they “they trained him at halftime and they put him in the second [half].”
From the big, happy grin on Roberto’s face, it appears it was mission accomplished.
