Dog Thrown Into A Barrel Of Tar Scared Of Rescuers At First
Someone had cruelly stuck a dog in a barrel of tar, leaving him to die. Thankfully, some kind-hearted people noticed and immediately called the Dog Care Clinic in Sri Lanka for help. When rescuers arrived, they found the dog, Kian, glued to the wooden floor beneath him. After freeing him, Kian was so terrified that he bolted away.
But Kian wasn’t out of danger yet. The tar needed to be carefully cleaned from his fur, as it could harden and the toxic chemicals could seriously harm him. Rescuers managed to catch him and bring him back to Bettina at the Dog Care Clinic, where he was thoroughly cleaned and cared for.
Even though Kian was safe, he remained fearful of people. Yet, after three months of love and care, he has made a remarkable recovery, now enjoying his time with the staff and other dogs.
