Doggy Daycare Shows Off All the Dogs with Food Names

Recently, a doggy daycare in Melbourne, Australia noticed something that many of their clients had in common. The dogs all have been named after foods. So Dogs HQ Doggy Daycare took out their camera and filmed this “Chef’s Kiss” to all the doggos who share the same name as food.

Viewers have “eaten” it up and the video has quickly garnered over 200 thousand page views. Viewers had a lot of questions and a lot of thoughts.

Viewer Giulia Catteaneo noted, “Why do they all make sense?”

“Milo?” asked one viewer. @dogshqdoggydaycare responded, “Yes it is! A delicious Australian drink!” Glad they cleared that one up for the non-Australian viewers out there.

Another person wondered what’s Manuka? It’s a special honey, by the way.

Purpl Thuder commented, “I’m surprised no one was named Oreo.” We are too, given just how popular the cookie is.

Not only did viewers love the names, everyone has their favourite among the pack. Molly wrote, “Peanut owns my whole heart.” Luma thought, “Toberlone somehow fits him so well.”

One viewer noted that food names for dogs are not only popular they should be popular. Molly said, “Food names are top tier. My little lady is Mochi.” We understand now, Molly is a little bit biased in her opinion.

Stacia Kent promised the doggie daycare that she’ll add to their “Menu. She wrote, “I will bring my two dachshunds…Haggis and Pork Chop.”

Others listed their dogs’ names among them “Brownie”, “Apple”, “Nacho”, “Raspberry” and “Pancake” to name just a few. Whew! There ARE a lot of dogs with food names. Have you got one?
