Dogs and Puppies Left Behind After Family Evicted From Home
Three tiny puppies and four adult dogs are safe after their family left them behind when they were evicted from their home.
Stray Rescue of St. Louis’ dispatch team received a call with a message from a Good Samaritan, “The family was evicted and the landlord left the door open, but they just won’t leave. There is a mom and dad and puppies I think….”
When the rescue team arrived they found some of the “little Fraggle Rock family” in cages, and others not. There was faces everywhere. As soon as they got them to safety, they noticed that all the dogs just wanted to be held.
One person commented, “Looks like a backyard breeding situation. Ugh. Poor darlings. I’m glad they’re all going to be spayed and neutered, stat.”
Another responded, “Sadly those people will go do it elsewhere they should be charged. Thank you Stray Rescue for everything you all are saints going into these horrid places to get the fur babies.”
Stray Rescue of St. Louis doesn’t think the dogs will have long to wait to find forever homes. They wrote, “We don’t often see dogs like this abandoned. We know they’ll be adopted quickly and have wonderful lives now!”
