“My son (Thomas Malavolta) and my dog (Greg). The first picture was taken in 2006, when Thom was 13 years old and Greg was 6 month old. Today, 7 years later, they remain big friends and are seated in the same place, the balcony of our apartment.”

“We lost our 15 year old husky mutt in May, and making some pictures of her and her boy were great therapy for me. We got Zelda for our youngest son, Tyler, at the end of his 5th grade year because it was a rough year, but he held up so well he deserved a tremendous prize. And she was! Tyler and his lovely wife Leah came to visit Zelda a couple weeks before we lost her, and I got some wonderful pictures of them.
Tyler and Zelda were a pair. He named her after the video game, not Zelda Fitzgerald- as I am often questioned here in Montgomery, AL! I got to keep her after college, because she became close to me while Tyler was gone, and he decided that was best, especially with her getting older and him working a lot. But he was only an hour away at college, then 3 hours away with his new career, so they remained close- he visited, and Zelda visited his new house, too. She loved his wife, Leah also. Zelda was indeed a wonderful friend.”

“This is a then ad now picture of me and my dog Buddy who recently passed away back in July. He was only a year old in the top picture and was 14 in the bottom. As hard as it was to say good bye, I remember my friend telling me that “if he lived passed his expected life span, you guys obviously gave him everything he ever wanted.” RIP Buddy. You are missed everyday.”
