Firefighters Help Husky Who Got Himself Stuck In House
Huskies often get stuck in unusual places. There have been many times when the “escape artists” have had to be rescued from the roof of a house. But Milo the Husky managed to get him stuck inside the house after performing what can only be described as an acrobatic move.
The Tempe Fire Department received a call from Milo’s family asking for help after they woke up to find their dog perched on a high ledge above the front door. Tempe Fire Department posted on Facebook, “Engine 277 received an unusual call to rescue a pup named Milo after his family discovered him stranded on a ledge this morning.”
Firefighters shared photos of Milo looking down and revealed that Milo had to navigate across a 40-foot-long and 6-inch-wide crown molding shelf to get to the ledge!
Firefighter Nolan was thankfully up to the task of carrying Milo down the ladder and managed to lift him down without a problem.
Milo didn’t mind getting the assist!
Once on the ground, firefighters took the time to properly introduce themselves to Milo. They wrote, “Hope Milo learned his lesson – don’t climb up if you can’t climb back down safely!” We hope so too!
