Former Breeding Dogs React To Their First Soft Blanket
When National Mill Dog Rescue returned to their shelter with 31 dogs, it marked the first step toward a hopeful future for these animals. Having spent their lives in a commercial breeding facility, the dogs had never known comfort, which makes it all the more touching to see them receive their first soft blankets. This simple gift symbolizes a new beginning for each dog.
At first, many of them aren’t sure what to make of the blankets—some take cautious sniffs, while others tentatively step onto them. While a few are more curious than others, we can bet that by now, all of them are enjoying not just the warmth of their blankets, but the love and care they’re receiving from their new human companions.
