Foster Dog Afraid to Go Inside a House Conquers Her Biggest Fear
When Susan took Hope home to foster, she soon realized the dog had never been inside a house before. Hope was very reluctant to come inside or walk anywhere in the house.
Susan could see that Hope wanted to make a connection with her foster family but something was holding her back. That’s when someone suggested that maybe Hope was afraid of the hardwood floors. And that was it.
Susan knew she had to do her best to get Hope more comfortable with flooring before she went to a new home. She decided to lay out every towel, every mat and every covering she could find over her hallways and rooms. Learning not to be scared to walk on the floor would prove to be Hope’s biggest challenge, but one that she was determined to overcome.
