Great Pyrenees Puppy is a Drama Queen Every Time She Licks Water Bowl Dry
Indigo, a Great Pyrenees puppy, has a flair for the dramatic. To demonstrate how much Indigo’s mom, Rhiannon Kostecki, shared a hilarious video of the puppy with her face in an empty water bowl with her tongue hanging out. It’s not that there’s a shortage of water around, Rhiannon explains, it’s that Indigo “is the most dramatic animal and prefers this small dish.”
“There are many water bowls inside and outside our farm,” Rhiannon elaborates. Her family lives on a farm in Duncan, British Columbia. But Indigo likes the small bowl and often “takes it with her sometimes and does performative art such as this video.” Take a look:
Rhiannon recently adopted the 6-month-old pup and right away she could tell the dog was different. She tells PEOPLE that her pup likes to act up a storm with her water bowl. “She’ll kind of slide it around the house and ask for water to be put in that bowl for her, despite receptacles everywhere.”
Indigo does something similar with her food bowl. When she finishes it she’ll bang it on the walls or throw it across the room. She even wears it on her head, Rhiannon told the lifestyle magazine. Talk about a drama queen!
Rhiannon, who is a veterinary technician, says Indigo is also super smart, confident and protective of all the animals on the property. And obviously, Indigo is a very clear communicator and able to tell her family what she wants when she wants it.
