Husky So Sick He Wailed When Touched Now Stunningly Beautiful
A husky brought to an animal shelter in Fresno, California didn’t look like a dog let alone a husky when Valley Animal Center rescued him. Frijolito (now named Whiskey) had such severe demodex mange that his fur was literally hanging off his body and he was covered with open sores.
He had to have all his fur shaved and he was in such pitiful condition that even when he was mildly sedated he continued to wail and cry when touched. But the staff gave him lots of comforting to make sure he felt safe.
Despite his mistreatment, Whiskey was a happy dog and trusted people. As he healed, his playful spirit began to be restored.
Two months later, Whiskey was ready to be adopted. That’s when Mwimi applied to adopt him.
When Whiskey arrived at his new home he was nervous but very happy. Now, he’s being spoiled with trips to the beach, his own wading pool, and lots of love.
