Maverick the Labrador Retriever stepped out the door of his house recently and froze. He didn’t budge an inch because he was surrounded by black cats! The Halloween decoration kind. CNN’s Jeanne Moos reached out to Pointing Labs, who said Maverick looks more like he’s engaged in pointer instinct rather than scared because of the dog’s body posture. Some viewers couldn’t help but comment on Maverick’s reaction. One said, “I think your dog is broken.”
Instinct or surprise, either way, he’s very funny to watch and happily wags his tail when his dad comes to “rescue him”!
