Lost Dog Reunites with Her Family After They Spot Her at NYC Adoption Event

A family walking through a pet adoption event in New York City were hoping to bring home a dog and ended up finding their missing dog!

Mom spotted a dog named Sandy standing by the Animal Care Centers of NYC Adoption truck. Sandy looked very similar to their beloved Mocha who had gone missing a few months ago after they left her in the care of a friend when they went on holiday.

So they went over to meet her. That moment was caught on video.

Sandy aka Mocha arrived at Animal Care Centers of NYC after she was found tied to a pole outside the ASPCA a month ago. Staff immediately noted how friendly Mocha is and suspected she was a family dog because of her gentle temperament.

Upon proof of ownership and noting Mocha’s reaction to seeing her family again, she is back home!
