Man Helps French Bulldog He Finds with a Treble Hook in His Mouth

An abandoned French Bulldog got a helping hand after he was dumped on the rural property of Kenny Vaughan. Sadly, dogs are regularly abandoned in the area rather than taken to the shelter, Vaughan says. But this particular Frenchie needed extra help because he was found with a treble hook in his mouth!

Taking the dog to the vet wasn’t an option as he’d have to wait a full day, so Vaughan decided he’d try to remove the hook himself.

Vaughan was amazed at how calm the dog was. With the help of some friends and family Vaughan set to work. Part of the treble hook (which is three hooks in one) was embedded in the dog’s lip but thankfully it came out without Vaughan having to pull it out!

Vaughan decided to name the dog “Captain Hook.” But he wasn’t done helping his rescued dog either. He found the sweet Frenchie a home! He says he now gets regular updates on how Captain Hook is doing from his new family!
