Husky Breaks Out of Pet Shelter and Throws Himself Late Night Party

A Husky with amazing escape artist skills decided to have some fun at a pet shelter in Tempe, Arizona recently when he broke out of his kennel. Lost Our Home Pet Rescue shared surveillance video of a husky in their care who managed to escape several doors before getting into the reception area and throwing himself a party!

King the Husky first attempted to free some of the other dogs but when that didn’t work he went out into the lobby and proceeded to make a mess.

The dog triggered the intruder alarm so the Tempe Police Department showed up shortly after. But what the police officer did after showing up has the shelter calling him “one of the coolest police officers ever.”

Lost Our Hope Pet Rescue wrote, “The Tempe Police Department is called to the scene for what can only be described as the cutest arrest ever! This dog had some amazing skills! And one of the coolest police officers ever that went above and beyond the call of duty cleaning up the mess the dog made.”

As for King, he’s escaped the shelter again but in the best way possible – he’s happily been adopted.

As the shelter describes in the video, they have a partnership with the Tempe Police Department that gives the officers 24/7 access so that they can drop lost and homeless animals off somewhere safe when they need to. In addition to their unique partnership with local police, the non-profit pet rescue specializes in a unique temporary care program for families in crisis that need a safe place for their pets while they get back on their feet.
