Bruno the dog was once locked in a room and never let outside. Later, his previous owners moved to a new place, where they tied him up outside a caravan. A concerned woman, determined to help him, fought with the owners to rescue him. She later told Reale that Bruno had torn up pizza boxes to make a makeshift bed on the concrete. This was what they had been feeding him—scraps and pizza boxes!
Reale’s dad saw a picture of Bruno and sent it to her. In her heart, she knew she had to help him. Since adopting him, Bruno has become a very happy, goofy dog, finally enjoying the love and comfort he deserves.
