Senior Pit Bull Goes From Eating Trash to Eating Dumplings Thanks to Kind-Hearted Stranger
Amora was visiting Bali when she spotted a small Pit Bull eating out of a trashcan on the side of the road. He was in terrible shape with tumours and super skinny. She could see he had been eating plastic. She reached out to her friend Karin, the founder of Bali Bully Rescue to see if she could help. Karin couldn’t say no even though the rescue charity was closed for intakes.
She writes on Bali Bully Rescue’s Facebook page, “I just don’t have it in me to ignore a dog in desperate need no matter what. So my motto for today is, rescue him first and stress about it later.”
Karin could tell that the Pit Bull – who they named Louie – had missed out on a lot of love in his 8 years. She was determined to find him a loving foster and she did. Louie just wanted to experience everything. Amora checked in on him and took him for a beach day which he absolutely loved before she went back to Germany.
Louie is a “very sweet and mellow boy” and he gets along wonderfully with Luna and Shelly. “We call them our fantastic three,” writes Karin. “They get along just perfectly and are sharing now our biggest kennel.”
That said, Karin would love for Louie to find a forever home to enjoy his senior years.
Bali Bully Rescue could use a helping hand right now. They urgently need donations for dry food for their 40 rescue Pit bulls. If you would like to support Louie and Bali Bully Rescue please visit them on Facebook or Instagram.
