Puppies and Australian Firefighters Team Up to Help Charities

Ready for that annual dose of “smoking hot” and “cuteness” combined into a visual treat? The Australian Firefighters Calendars are back for 2024.

Since its launch in 1993, the Australian Firefighters Calendar has donated over $3.4 million dollars to charities across Australia. The Calendar has helped animal shelters, wildlife affected by wildfires and habitat loss, children’s hospitals and more.

This year’s charity recipients include Australia’s Rural Firefighters, The Queensland Koala Society, Kids with Cancer Foundation, Safe Haven Animal Rescue, among other organizations.

This year’s 2024 calendar series will raise funds as it always has by giving its fans what they want, bringing Australia’s favorite heroes and animals together to “produce the world’s most iconic calendars.”

“The Australian Firefighters Calendar is found on the walls of supporters in over 90 countries around the world,” says David Rogers of Australian Firefighters Calendar in a press release. “From Germany to Taiwan, to the US and Japan, the firefighters from the calendar use their popularity to continue the message of conservation for Australian Wildlife.”

Some of the handsome firefighters and cute dogs appearing in this year’s Dog calendar are featured below. And we’re sure you’ll agree the puppies and dogs are just plain adorable. The firefighters aren’t bad looking either.

Due to the enormous popularity of the Australian Firefighters Calendar in North America, this year’s calendars feature several firefighters from the USA and Canada.

There’s 27-year-old firefighter/paramedic Caden Troy from America who said, “We live on one shared planet and this is a message I am more than happy to take back to the States and share with my audience” before adding, “And oh yeah, I almost forgot…ripped Firefighters with adorable animals. I think people might enjoy that as well.”

Each month of the 6 different calendar editions reveals a different firefighter and their heart-warming bond with some of Australia’s most adorable animals. From cuddly koalas to playful kittens, these visuals capture the compassion that these firefighters stand for both in and out of uniform.
