Puppy Dumped In Trash with Poorly Cropped Ears Now Treasured

A puppy named Piglet was found abandoned in a bin at a Sacramento high school. His ears had been poorly cropped, causing him significant pain. Haley from the Front Street Animal Shelter took him in and got him medical care. He looked so sad that it was heartbreaking to see.

Haley brought him home the next day, and Piglet quickly began to trust her. By the second week, his pain had lessened, and he would snuggle up to her whenever he could. Jasper, Haley’s rescue dog, particularly grew attached to Piglet.

Though Haley has fostered over 500 animals, with only five foster fails, Piglet found a wonderful adoptive family. His new owner runs a rescue and works at a veterinary hospital, ensuring Piglet now lives an amazing life
