Puppy Tries To Trick Mom Into Letting Him Have Early Morning Swim
Oaklie, a 9-month-old silver Labrador Retriever, just got a new pool and is very excited. He’s so excited that he tried to trick his mom into letting him swim very early in the morning.
Recently, he got up at 6:30am to ask to be let outside. His mom, thinking he was asking to go out potty, opened the door to let him out. But Oaklie had another purpose in mind.
Oaklie’s mom writes, “He just got this new pool and wanted to go swimming, so he went and got his towel and stood by the pool at 6:30 AM. He asked to go out potty, but he tricked his mom and really wanted to go out so he could play in the pool!”
Oh, Oaklie. When mom beckons him to come inside he reluctantly moves. He even tries to use his “puppy dog eyes” to convince mom to change her mind. We’re hopeful that Oaklie got to go on his swim later that day…probably after mom had her morning coffee. LOL.
