Really Sick Dog Transforms from ‘Broken’ to Happy After Rescue

Buzz was a very sick dog when he was spotted by Mission Pawsible in Bali. He looked terrible, but they knew restoring his health would be an easy fix. A friend of theirs went out to rescue the balding dog, attempting to feed him and bring him in. However, Buzz was skittish, so they understood it might take some time for the rescuer to build trust.

Thankfully, it didn’t take too long. They eventually caught him and brought him to the vet clinic. The vet clinic informed Mission Pawsible that Buzz was aggressive, which was concerning for the young dog. However, when one of their employees went to check on him, Buzz was fine with being petted, indicating his aggression was fear-based rather than inherent.

Buzz began treatment for scabies, mange, and a blood parasite. However, when he started passing blood in his urine, they took him back for further examination. It turned out he had transmissible venereal tumor (TVT), a form of cancer. Fortunately, it wasn’t advanced, and after a few chemotherapy treatments, he started to recover.

As Buzz healed, he transformed from “a broken little guy” to a “beautiful, happy dog.” Mission Pawsible knew he would find a home quickly because of his friendly and joyful nature. And he did! Buzz is now in a loving home and will never have to worry about being unwanted again.
