Rescue Dog Loves Family Cat Even More Than Her Parents

Koda had a rough start when she was a puppy. She was thrown out of a car in South Carolina only to get hit by a car. She survived, but she suffered a broken hind leg and another break to her femur. Fortunately, a rescue took care of her and then she was adopted.

From the moment she met Mia, the family’s cat, she loved her. Her mom even says Koda loves Mia more than partner Mike and her.

When Koda’s past injuries meant she had to have hip surgery to alleviate her pain, she had to be separated from Mia for a month. The family made sure to film their reunion and Koda was so excited to see her friend again!

“I’ve never seen Koda so happy,” her mom said of their reunion. She added that Koda “loves Mike and I but she’s absolutely obsessed with Mia.”
