Rescuer Finds Husky Collapsed On Lawn Crying In Pain

Suzette Hall’s heart broke when she saw Joel, a husky who had collapsed on a lawn crying in pain. “Poor baby was attacked by dogs and left to die,” the animal rescuer and founder of Logan’s Legacy shared on Facebook. Joel’s throat had been so badly bitten that “you could literally see his jugular” and his life was in danger from the horrific injuries. He had been laying on the grass for hours when she arrived to save him.

Suzette raced Joel to the emergency vet but Joel’s chances of survival were slim. Despite a poor prognosis from the vet, Suzette could see in Joel’s eyes that he wanted to live….and he did!

Suzette calls Joel’s survival a “complete miracle.” He is now in foster care and looking for a home. “He loves to cuddle. He loves other dogs. He loves everyone.
