Sleepy Barks from English Bulldog are Adorably Dramatic

Have you ever caught your dog dreaming and wondered what they are dreaming about? Their REM sleep can be filled with barks and “running” that makes you wonder if they are reliving a game of fetch or other fond memory. Sometimes, just the noises they make are enough to get your imagination going.

This English Bulldog’s human caught her napping in the kitchen and decided to film her. The person describes, “My dog was sleeping and barking, but her tummy was barking too.”

It’s true! The dog’s whole body wiggles as she snores and dreams. Dog lovers chimed in how much the Bulldog reminded them of their dogs sleeping.

“My Rottweiler used to do that,” said one viewer. “She used to full on bark and growl but her mouth never opened just an occasional deep inhale through her nose.”

“This is legit my blue tick coonhound she snores and twitches in her sleep sometimes,” said another.
