A stray dog spent the night in a manhole in an empty lot after falling in. Dog Rescue Shelter Mladenovac got a call to help the dog and when they arrived, the Good Samaritans showed them where the dog was. The hole in the ground was covered by a rusty grate in an open field between two homes. The little black and white dog looked alone and scared.
“She is such a beautiful dog,” writes the Serbian rescue. She was wearing a red collar but the neighbors didn’t recognize her. Back at the shelter, the dog (now named Chupka) befriended one of their kittens. And after an unsuccessful search for her owners, she got a new family, loving home and a big best friend.
