Street Dog Brings Her Hypothermic Puppy To Vet Clinic For Help

It was cold and raining in Istanbul when a mother dog stunned veterinarians by bringing her hypothermic, unconscious puppy to their clinic for help. This remarkable moment was captured on security camera footage, and the video has since gone viral around the world.

In the footage, the mother dog is seen carrying her sick pup in her mouth as she approaches the door of Beylikduzu Alfa Veterinary Clinic, catching the attention of the staff inside.

A vet technician quickly rushed out, detected a faint heartbeat, and brought the puppy inside. They administered an adrenaline shot and used a hairdryer to warm the pup while the mother dog anxiously watched.

Thanks to their swift action, the puppy survived and is now doing much better. Dr. Baturalp Dogan shared with a news agency that the mother dog seemed to instinctively know where to seek help. He explained that the mother’s other puppy had been brought to the clinic earlier, and she must have observed this before bringing her second pup to them.

Whatever the reason, her timing was crucial, because if she had been any later her puppy would have died. Now, both puppies and their mother are in good condition and are being cared for at the clinic.
