Tiny Dog Begins Her Road to Recovery After Highway Rescue
When Sasha was found on the side of a highway, she was in terrible shape. Her fur was badly matted, and she couldn’t keep food or water down.
Rescuers from StreetHearts Project rushed her to the emergency vet, where doctors discovered her intestines and lymph nodes were severely swollen.

Sasha was placed on a special diet and medication, with the hope that her health will improve and she’ll soon be able to eat again. She currently weighs only 5.1 pounds. After her mats were removed, she began feeling much better, so much so that she’s even found her voice again.
