Tiny Dog Terrified of Being Touched Transforms With Loving Touch

When Arnold was first rescued he was in a terrible state of mind. Foxy and the Hounds got the tiny dog into a loving foster home with Terri, an experienced foster mom.

Terri knew immediately Arnold would need a lot of patience. “Just my presence was threatening to him,” she says in the video of his rescue story. She knew he had to learn that nothing was going to happen to him when she tried to touch him.

At first he snapped at her. But after much gentle coaxing and persistence Terri had a breakthrough with Arnold. And three days after that he sought her out to be petted!

Watch Arnold go from a scared, aggressive pup to one who bursts with joy when someone gives him his morning belly rub:

And in even more wonderful news, Arnold found a forever home. Terri shared the news on Foxy and the Hounds Facebook page and posted about Arnold:

“He was definitely one of my more challenging rescues, but certainly not my worst. His video went viral and I seriously love that little guy so much. It took several months of patience and gaining trust, but I absolutely know that I did good by him and placed Arnold in his perfect forever home. I went to visit today for the first time in 3 months. Arnold is living the dream and is so well cared for and loved beyond measure. There is no doubt that there is a home for every dog…and Arnold is home!”
